Sarah D. Kelly, AICP, Senior Associate

Sarah D. Kelly joined Fort Point Associates, Inc. as Senior Associate in 2012. Ms. Kelly has twelve years of experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in urban and environmental planning and historic preservation. Most recently, Ms. Kelly served as Executive Director of the Boston Preservation Alliance, Boston's primary historic preservation advocacy and education nonprofit organization. Under Ms. Kelly's seven years of leadership, the Alliance embarked on an ambitious agenda to bring awareness regarding Boston's built and cultural heritage to a broader audience and to better integrate historic preservation into Boston's real estate development and city planning activities.

Previously, Ms. Kelly was Project Manager and Interim Director at The Boston Harbor Association, where she spearheaded a range of advocacy and education initiatives to promote a clean, alive, and accessible Boston Harbor. She has also worked as a planner specializing in Municipal Harbor Planning at the Boston Redevelopment Authority and at Murray O'Laoire Architects in Dublin, Ireland. Ms. Kelly serves on the Board of Trustees of The Boston Harbor Association and is actively engaged on a volunteer basis in many other civic organizations in the Boston area. She holds a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College and a Master of City Planning from MIT.
