Xinchi Yu, Assistant Planner

Xinchi Yu joined Fort Point Associates in 2016, bringing experience in land use and environmental planning, community development, and urban design. Prior to joining FPA, she worked at New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, where she assisted with the extensive analysis of 421-A Affordable Housing Tax Incentive Program. She also has experience working in the Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development in New York City, where she was engaged in the research of a series of affordable housing projects and contributed to the advocacy efforts for supporting low-income families and strengthening community development. She graduated from Columbia University with a M.A. in Urban Planning, and also holds a B.A. in Urban & Rural Planning and Resource Management from East China Normal University.
