Jodrey State Fish Pier

FPA, was retained by MassDevelopment to obtain approvals from local, state, and federal agencies in order to expand the existing docks at the state’s largest fish pier, located in the Gloucester, MA Inner Harbor. Expansion of the existing floats that support dozens of commercial fishing vessels was critical to the economic success of this facility, which is located in a Designated Port Area. FPA navigated through a myriad of permit requirements and navigational restrictions to permit several new floats for berthing large commercial fishing vessels, increasing the port’s competitiveness and viability, and enhancing water-dependent, marine industrial uses.
